Wednesday Night Meetings

Welcome to Our Wednesday Night Meeting.

Our Wednesday nights are a great place for men (21+) to gather, make new friends and develop their relationship with the Lord.

We meet weekly in Liverpool on a Wednesday evening, to build relationships, plan monthly sporting activities and organise the annual Invincible Games.

Each meeting begins with a meal & topical chat, followed by biblical discussions, to stay physically and mentally healthy.

Accountability

We might have many people in our lives … But for many men there isn’t the support they need when things go wrong.

Quite Men

Similarly, for those of us who are naturally quite, it’s great to be in an environment where we don’t have to speak if we wish not to, and, if 1-1 is your preferred way of discussing the highs and lows of life, then we do that too.

Challenging

It has been said that ‘the truth will set you free’ (John 8:32) … yet, sometimes in the noise of daily living, the truth is hard to hear…

That is why during our meetings we look at topics that encourage us all to be honest and open, so that the word of God can be implemented, in all situations and circumstances.

Challenges can encourage growth!

During weekly meetings life situations are discussed, which we all learn from. This helps to motivate and develop our daily walk, and helps us to grow in faith.

Diversity

Men who join Christian Men United vary in age, orientation, nationality and so forth. Having a diverse group of guys gives us a healthy global perspective on local society and the world we live in.

What Are The Expectations?

We have great expectations, and we believe that, as we discuss life, and talk through the Word of God, we will find all the guidance we need to walk in a manner worthy of our calling.

And, as we develop our relationships with each other, we will know the way to live and love God more. Likewise, we will develope our understanding of the truth about Jesus and who He is and what He accomplished and be truly set free.

And lastly, we expect to live a life that demonstrates our love for each other, those around us and for the Lord, through our sporting activities.
