What Is Hope?. . .

Go stand by the window!. . .open it!. . .look onto the streets!. . .

Do you see?. . .

Somewhere there is someone being murdered, somewhere there is someone giving their flesh against their will. . .

Somewhere there is someone losing the fight against addictions

Somewhere there is someone selling an addiction to someone that is desperate for escape. . .

Somewhere near you there is some one weeping for release from the agony of a shattered heart. . .

Somewhere close by, a women is at home screaming for freedom as she is beaten yet another time. . .

Somewhere even closer is a child that is without love somewhere that child stares motionless, unblinking at a world it is terrified of. . .

Everywhere the world screams help, save me, set me free. . .

Close the window!. . .take a seat!. . .lets think!. . .

Are you part of the ‘Somewhere!’ . . .

Or do you have ‘hope!’. . .

There is hope. . . . . . . There is hope that you can have, a hope you can wallow in. . .give away, and still have plenty left. . .

Since your seated. . .lets chat!. . .

We have chatted many times before about this ‘hope’ and I know that at times I have seen your attention fade away. . .

But please, please, this time let your ears hear, and let your mind and heart hear also, about this ‘hope’. . .

You know the story, 2000 years ago in a stable JESUS was born. . .
Lived a life, performed miracles. . .

Was nailed to a cross, buried in a tomb. . .

Rose from the dead on the third day. . .and is now in heaven. . .

THE PROMISE. . .

This ‘hope’ I’m talking of, lies in the promise of GOD. . .

This is that promise, that after JESUS arose from the dead, there would be a time where the world would become a very difficult place to live in with pain and suffering.

GOD has promised that this time of suffering will not be for much longer, that this time will pass, and that JESUS is coming back. . .

But this time when JESUS comes back it is not to die on a cross again. That had to happen last time JESUS came, to pay the price for all the bad things you and I have ever done, but this time around it will be to call all who believe in HIM, and lead them into heaven. . .

HEAVEN. . .
a place where there is true peace, not just for an hour or two, peace for all time.

A place where all live in harmony, where there is no more pain, where there is no fighting, where there is no hidden agendas, where there is no ‘just existing’ but where everyone ‘lives life to the max’. . .

It’s a place of beauty it’s a place that is free to all who believe, its a place that billions have placed their ‘hope’ in. . .

A place where it does not matter which side of the tracks you were born on, ‘All’ are equal, regardless of race or intellect. . .

You know me, you know my back ground!. . .if GOD has loved me and accepted me, just as I am!, and has promised that I am amongst those that JESUS is coming back for, then you know he will, with open arms welcome you also.

HOPE. . .

I’m almost finished. . .this ‘hope’ is based on the knowledge that ‘JESUS’ is exactly who HE says HE is, the last time that HE was here. . .that is, that HE is the SON of GOD. . .the SAVIOUR of the world. . .

It is based on the knowledge that like the film, ‘The Passion of The Christ, JESUS, is seriously passionate about you and me.

You know I think the world of you. . .and I want you to have it, not just a little, but a ‘shed load’ of it. . .so that the next time your in pain, wether thats physical, or from a broken heart or a relationship. . .

You know there is a better time ahead. . .and that there truly is. . .’hope’. . .

Ok. . .lets go stretch our legs!. . .
